The scope is written down
Before anything is built you get a document listing what we're making, what we're not making, and what it costs. Changes are fine — they just go through the same door.

You see it every week
There's a link to the running build from day one. No month-long silence followed by a reveal, because that's when misunderstandings get expensive.

We'd rather ship less
Half the features in a first spec never get used. We push back on those early so the ones that matter get the attention instead.

It's yours afterwards
Repository, credentials, deployment — handed over and documented. Keep us on for maintenance if it's useful, not because you're locked in.

It's a slightly stubborn name for a studio, and it's meant to be. The interesting work is usually the third answer, after the two obvious ones have been ruled out.
